7.THE RIVERS IN NEPAL

River means a natural water way of flowing water. here are more than six thousand rivers in nepal. our country is also known as the state of rivers in the world. nepal is the second largest country in hydro electricity and mor than 83000 mega watt electricity can be generated capacity in nepal.
 there ar two kinds of rivers in nepal  1.permanent rivers and 2. temporary rivers. the rivers originated from the himalayas are permanent rivers.due to snow-meltings from the himalayas or orginating water from the hills they flow through out the year,sapta-gandaki, sapta-koshi, sapta- karnali,and their tributaries are the example of such permanent rivers.
  The rivers are very advantageous natural resources they are th natural gifts of god. except drinking water the rivers provide us many things such as electricity irrigation and water mill etc. nowadays ,our rivers are helping in our tourist frade because the tourists are pleased to pay a lot of foregin currency for rafting and enjoying in rivers.
