1.Far western region of Nepal.

 Far western development region is the smallest development region of our country Nepal.
It’s total area is 19539 Sq.Km where as population is 2191330.It is the farthest development
region from the capital kathmandu.It is surrounded by India in the west and south by china in
the north .Mid western is in the east. Its headquarter is Dipayal. It contains two zones seti
and Mahakali. Nine district kailali,Doti, acham, Bajura, Bajhang, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura,
Baitadi and Darchula and six Municipality .The mahakali river which lies here is the western
border of Nepal. Physically far western development region is divided into three region tarai,
hilly, and mountain region. There is Guras mountain range which contains high mountains like
Api,Nampa, and Saipal there are three district Bajhang, Bajura, and Darchula in mountain region
south to the mountain region lies hilly region which is composed of steep hills gentle slopes
basins and tars.Khaptad baba , national park lies in the hilly region. Tarai region contains
Suklaphanta wild life reserve where sal trees grass lands forest of Sisau trees and wildlife
like wild border spotted tiger, bears,Leopards,rain deers etc are found. The physical feature
of far western development region also includes the tourist attracting palces. The biggest river
like mahakali, seti and budhi ganga and chamaliya lie here passes like tinker and ghanahi are
located here.
